About Me:
Vera Donnelly — A life dedicated to mastering languages
My passion for English began early, influenced by my grandfather’s
work at the United States Information Service (USIS).
What started with reading the 'Little House' series, as a child, transformed into a
solid and successful international career.
A Summa cum Laude graduate in Languages (English/Portuguese) from
PUC-Campinas, I was hired as the university's youngest teacher,
immediately after graduation.
My pursuit of excellence continued in the United States, where I became a California State credentialed teacher
(CBEST) and taught at prestigious institutions such as Palomar College, in San Marcos.
Throughout nearly four decades, I have had the privilege to:
- Train executives at major corporations like BDO, Pfizer,UPL Brasil and Macro Painel, among many others.
- Act as a translator and simultaneous interpreter for international events.
Online Pioneer Teacher: For 12 years, I have brought this vast experience to
the digital world, offering personalized online lessons, with the same
effectiveness and warmth as in-person classes.
My mission is simple: to use my bicultural and academic background to
help you not only learn a new language, but feel confident
communicating with the world.
